Public Notices:

Control Operations Begin:

The Benton County Mosquito Control District will begin operations for the control of adult mosquitoes and mosquito larvae during the week of March 24th, 2017.  Sumithrin and Naled will be used to control adult mosquitoes (adulticide/fogging) during the late evening or early morning hours. Biological larvicides, including Bti, insect growth regulators and larviciding oil will be used for the control of mosquito larvae. The fogging phase does have potential to cause harm to bees so the input from the public on locations of apiary sites is necessary. To inform or request additional information, please contact the District at 967-2414 or at mosquitocontrol.org.
