Tire Collection Event
The Tire Collection Event for 2021 occurred on April 17th. We took in about 7,000 tires! That means 7,000 fewer spots for water to collect and for mosquitoes to potentially develop.
The District accepts applications for employment year round*, but please note that the season generally runs from May into September; consequently we do not generally start conducting interviews or make job offers until February/March.
*While we do collect/receive applications year round, we will only accept applications for the upcoming season if they are submitted within that same calendar year. Example, if you are interested in working for us in the 2020 season, then you need submit an application after January 1st, 2020.
